Ty Mawr is a delightful cream washed cottage set in wooded gardens, tucked away along winding country roads. Inside the thick stone walls are characterful, old beams, low ceilings, log fires and cosy little nooks and crannies, all creating a warm, rustic farmhouse feel.

The bedrooms are well appointed, blending the old and the new with an appealing mix of pine furnishings, Victorian style claw-footed baths and Italian tiled floors. And all bedrooms come equipped with all the usual facilities and have lovely views of the gardens and the rolling hills in the distance.

Ty Mawr has a growing reputation for its good food. The daily changing menu uses fresh local produce, mainly organic, to create tasty wholesome, Welsh cuisine.

The hotel is restful but not remote, it's less than half an hour's drive from the motorway and perfectly located for touring the south coast and valleys of Wales . While there are plenty of outdoor pursuits, from walking, fishing and cycling are available locally.
