Tigh na Boireach & Boreray (Isle of North Uist)

Situated on the beautiful north west coast of North Uist, Tigh na Boireach & Boreray are traditional thatched cottages rebuilt to an original design but incorporating all modern conveniences and comforts. Very romantic!

The centre feature of the bedroom in the cottage is a hand carved four poster bed. Comfortable sitting room with restored Victorian fireplace with gas flame effect fire, TV, video & hi-fi. Fitted kitchen includes fridge, electric cooker, washer dryer, dishwasher and microwave. Cottages are heated by gas fire and storage heaters.

Hill & beach walking, birdwatching and day trips to other islands.

A beautiful property of a very high standard, it is within easy reach of miles of sandy beaches. There is a general shop, Post Office, Bank of Scotland , local hospital and hotel at Lochmaddy and a Co-Op shop at Sollas. All bed linen and towels are supplied free. We regret that pets are not permitted due to the presence of livestock. No smoking property.
