The Station Hotel is a charming family-run hotel in the far north of Scotland , perfectly located in the centre of Thurso and within 5 minutes drive of the ferry port at Scrabster.

The Station Hotel is situated in the heart of Thurso, the largest town on the north coast of Scotland and just 20 miles from John O Groats, the most northerly point of mainland Britain. All of the towns historic sites are within walking distance of the hotel including Old St Peter's Church, Heralds Tower, The Fisherbiggins and the Castle. The railway station is just a few moments walk from the hotel whilst just 5 minutes away by car lies the Scrabster ferry terminal which provides the main link to the Isle of Orkney .

The hotel comprises of 38 guest bedrooms each of which has carefully modernised in recent years. Décor is in clean, light colours complemented with thick dark fabrics whilst the furnishings are contemporary and functional. More formal dining is available in the dining room with a menu offering select Scottish dishes including fish, lamb, beef and game along with a daily vegetarian special.
