A quiet, peaceful haven set in a conservation area bordering Dumfries-shire and Ayrshire in the village of Leadhills. Nestling in the Lowther Hills, Leadhills is the second highest in Scotland at 395 metres, has the highest golf course and an abundance of walking routes close by, including the Southern Upland Way.

Not far from Glasgow (1 hour), Edinburgh (1 hour 20 minutes), Dumfries (1 hour) and Ayr (1 hour, 15 minutes).

2 bedrooms - sleeps 3 + 2 making use of the sofa bed in the lounge.

A comfortable, well-equipped cottage comprising, kitchen, lounge, bathroom, conservatory and utility room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs.

The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and plenty worktop/cupboard space. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in the utility room. The lounge has feature fireplace with open fire, seating for 5 including a sofa bed, dining table & chairs, Sky TV, DVD and wireless internet connection. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. From the lounge, a wrought iron staircase leads to the 2 bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other a single bed. Private off road parking.

Bed linen, towels, electricity and oil fired central heating are all included.

Sorry, pets are not permitted. Smoking not permitted (except in the conservatory).

Ideal for 3 people. Can take up to 5 making use of the sofa bed. Extra charge applies if more than 3 people.
