You have a choice of a 7 or 9 day tour (6 or 8 nights) including an overnight cruise ferry crossing to Shetland.
Sample Tour (7 day/ 6 nights):
Can start on Tuesday, Friday or Sunday from Aberdeen .
DAY 1 - Depart Aberdeen on-board the NorthLink cruise ferry and sail overnight in your comfortable en-suite twin cabin. The ship has self-service and a' la carte restaurants, two bars, lounge, cinema lounge, sun decks, kennels, etc.
DAYS 2&3 - Arrive in Lerwick on Shetland at 07.30 and, after breakfast on-board (served until 09.00, not included in holiday price), your explorations of Shetland begin! Enjoy two nights in Shetland at one of our specially chosen hotels or guest houses.
DAY 4 - Savour the special character of these northern islands before sailing from Lerwick . You can enjoy dinner on-board or watch a film. You arrive in Kirkwall in Orkney for three nights at your hotel or guest house.
DAYS 5-6 - Orkney . So much to do, to marvel at. Beautiful seascapes and exhilarating walks, ancient, maritime & wartime history, the Italian Chapel , informative heritage centres, boat trips, golf, fishing, tempting crafts..!
DAY 7 - You leave Orkney on the ferry from Stromness and arrive in Scrabster in just 90 minutes where your memorable Shetland & Orkney holiday ends.
The 9 day option includes one extra night on each of Shetland and Orkney and begins on Monday, Thursday or Saturday.
