THE TOUR
TUESDAY - Lewis & Harris. Sail from Ullapool at 10.30 to Stornoway arriving at 13.15. There is a later ferry at 17.15 - 20.00. Enjoy three nights in Lewis and/or Harris. Do visit the famous 5,000 year old Calanais Standing Stones, second only to Stonehenge for their grandeur, or the restored traditional crofting village at Gearrannan.
FRIDAY - Uists & Benbecula. Drive south to Leverburgh in Harris for the 12.05 or 14.45 ferry to Berneray and North Uist, arriving at 13.05 or 15.45. The lochans and sealochs of the RSPB Nature Reserve make it a perfect place for birdwatching. Loch Druidibeg Nature Reserve in South Uist is also a fantastic place to explore. Spend two nights in the Uists and Benbecula.
SUNDAY - Barra. You sail from Eriskay (connected to South Uist by a causeway) to Ardmhor in Barra (takes 40 minutes). The 10.10 ferry gives you more time in Barra, or enjoy a leisurely morning and take the 12.20 ferry instead. Fringed with golden beaches and flower dotted grasslands, your two nights on Barra are a lovely end to this enjoyable holiday.
TUESDAY - Sail from Castlebay at 09.20 arriving in Oban at 14.10 where your wonderful Outer Isles Holiday finishes.You can also start from Ullapool on a Monday, follow the same itinerary, and sail from Barra to Oban the following Monday. The number of nights in each island can be amended.

Outer Isles Holiday - The Shorter Option
6 days/5 nights
If time is short! You can start on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
DAY 1 - Catch the morning ferry from Ullapool to Stornoway - 2 nights in Lewis & Harris.
DAY 3 - Take the ferry from Leverburgh in South Harris to Berneray - 2 nights in the Uists & Benbecula.
DAY 5 - A short ferry hop from Eriskay to Ardmhor for your final day and night in the small island of Barra - 1 night in Barra.
DAY 6 - Your ferry leaves from Castlebay in Barra at 09.20 to bring you to Oban where this lovely holiday ends.
Stay at least one night in Ullapool, preferably two or more, to explore the spectacular coastline including Cape Wrath, the most north-westerly point on the British mainland. You could visit Inverewe Garden or the Achiltibuie Hydroponicum and enjoy a boat trip to the delightful Summer Isles. Choice of restaurants in the village.
You can also include a night or two in the bustling harbour town of Oban before/after your island adventure. Perfect before or after your visit to the Western Isles. - Images
