Oran Na Mara prides itself on offering a peaceful and relaxing stay reflecting the tranquility of its calm location on the Isle of Mull and close to the tiny spiritual Isle of Iona.

Situated in the south of the Isle of Mull just off Scotland's West Coast Oran na Mara boasts a peaceful location with spectacular views across Bunessan Bay. Mull is a haven for wildlife-spotters, walker, cylcers and painters and the guest-house is well-placed for exploring this beautiful island and taking boat trips to Iona , Staffa and the Treshnish Isles. Oran na Mara is situated approximately 40 minutes from Craignure one of the main ferry ports to the island where sailings arrive from Oban on the mainland. Tobermory, the islands main town and anotehr ferry port lie approximately 1 hour north.

Built in 2005 by owners Callum and Kackie Entwhistle, Oran na Mara provides a modern a guest house accommodation with a distinctly personal Scottish welcome. The B&B enjoys four-star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board assuring comfort and attention to detail in service. The aim of your hosts is to ensure a truly relaxing and pleasurable stay and due to this emphasis on on tranquility, regretably children and dogs are not accepted. An elegant guest lounge is open trhoguhout the day offering satellite television and a wide-selection of books, magazines and board-games whilst the "sun-room" offers a more peaceful spot from which to enjoy the secenery.

Three guest bedrooms (two twins and one double) provide the overnight accommmodation. Each room is individually decorated in warm mellow colours and furnished in natural woods to provide the highest levels of comfort. All three guest rooms have tea and coffee making trays, wifi-internet and en-suite bathroom facilities. The house is completely non-smoking throguhout.

The bright and airy dining room is east facing, catching the beautiful morning sunshine, an ideal atmosphere in which to enjoy breakfast each morning. A choice of menus is provided including traditional Scottish cooked options alongside a lighter continental selection. Dietary requirements can be catered for on request and packed lunches can be provided by prior arrangement.
