Muckrach Lodge Hotel

Muckrach Lodge is situated in the heart of the Scottish Highlands , on the boundaries of the Cairngorm Mountains, with castles, whisky trails and an abundance of outdoor activities on the doorstep.

Muckrach is a fine Victorian Highland lodge, now transformed into a delightfully relaxing hotel. Set in 10 acres of landscaped grounds with a duck pond and Highland cattle grazing in the meadow, the hotel is surrounded by the farmland and forests of the Muckrach Estate, whose 16th century castle forms an attractive backdrop to the hotel.

In typical country house tradition, Muckrach displays comfortable rooms, log fires, fresh flowers and friendly hospitality. Each of the individually designed and well-appointed bedrooms is lovingly maintained with deep romantic colours and period furnishings.

Fine dining is available in the renowned Finlarig Restaurant or informal dining in the Garden Bistro. The cuisine in each is off the highest order, using the best local produce and the hotel is a member of prestigious food organisations such as Taste of Scotland and the Scottish Beef Club. A distinguished cellar offers over 100 fine wines and the hotel bar has an excellent selection of rare malts.

There are an abundance of outdoor activities available in the area, while Royal Deeside, Loch Ness , the Speyside Malt Whisky and Castle Trails are all within easy reach.
