Comfortable, renovated smithy by a lovely sandy beach surrounded by remarkable natural heritage and island beauty. The Hebridean Trust (registered UK Charity no.285629), formed in 1982 to help regenerate the island's economy whilst preserving its traditional way of life, manages this historic building with both the active and less able in mind. Named after eminent Hebridean ecologist, John Morton Boyd.
Structure of the original forge is used for a large open fireplace in the comfortable living room with TV, video & stereo. Two large twin rooms & two twin bunkrooms. Fully equipped modern kitchen. Bathroom with disabled facilities & additional shower room. Laundry area. Heated throughout. A great holiday home for a beautiful island!
Pets
Well behaved dog(s) and other pets accepted by prior arrangement. They must be properly supervised and you must bring their own bedding (refer to Conditions of Let) A charge may be made (per dog/pet), shown to the right of the symbol, which is paid to the owner.
Heating
Log/Coal/Peat open fire in property or wood burning/multifuel stove. An initial supply of fuel is often provided, additional supplies may be charged.
Additional heat and electricity is paid based on metred usage
