Royal Deeside Woodland Lodges (North-East Scotland)
These log cabins are set in the Heart of Royal Deeside at the eastern gateway to the Cairngorm National Park in Aberdeenshire. The woodland lodges are located in the little rustic village of Dinnet and make an ideal base to visit and explore the many sporting and tourist activities Royal Deeside has to offer.
Local activities include fishing, walking, gliding, quad biking, archery, go-carting, mountain climbing, shooting and skiing (Glenshee and the Lecht for skiing and fabulous views are just a 45 minute drive away), while attractions include Balmoral Castle (10 miles), The Whisky Trail, Victorian Heritage Trail, Aberdeen City, the scenic coastline, castles and Cairngorm National Park.
Each cabin has 2 bedrooms (a twin bedroom and a double bedroom) sleeping up to 4 people, an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area and a fully fitted kitchen including integrated dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is a bathroom with shower over bath. Free WiFi internet access.
The perfect location for your holiday in Scotland, the Lodges are located in the grounds of Loch Kinord Hotel and back on to the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve with lochside walks starting from your door. The hotel offers fine dining restaurant and bar meals as well as a lounge bar for sampling the many whiskies on offer.
