Glengarry Castle Hotel is a charming Scottish country house set in its own 60 acre estate which boasts extensive woodlands, tranquil loch shores and the timeworn ruins of Invergarry Castle where Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed after the battle of Culloden.

Designed and constructed by celebrated architect David Bryce, Glengarry House which was later to become Glengarry Castle Hotel, was completed in the late 1800s. Its Victorian Baronial features include canted bay windows, turelles and a small round tower. The entry hall at Glengarry is warm and welcoming with an open log fire, whilst the library offers a perfect retreat in which to relax. With a traditional Scottish feel, furnished in dark woods, clan tartans and with its own open fire the library also offers spectacular views over the loch and glen. The family run hotel offers a truly warm Highland welcome.
The 26 guest rooms at Glengarry all offer en-suite bathrooms, service trays and colour televisions, each one individually and traditionally furnished and decorated. For that extra comfort you can opt for a superior room many of which have tester or four poster beds. For that extra special stay you can opt for a deluxe room which boast four-poster beds and are the most spacious with large windows and the most impressive aspects and views.
The restaurant is spacious and airy and offers a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy the warm and friendly highland hospitality and excellent traditional cooking offered by Glengarry. The menu changes daily but is always based around a range of traditional recipes using the finest locally sourced ingredients.
Within the hotels own grounds you can indulge in brown-trout fishing, take a rowing boat out on the loch, enjoy a game of tennis or explore the history with a woodland stroll to the ruins of Invergarry Castle.
