The Ferry Crofts are centrally located on the gentle hillside above Ardminish Bay and offer an eye-catching panorama of the Sound of Gigha and Kintyre, and are close to the Boathouse beach, ferry slipway at Ardminish and yacht anchorage, which in summer is full of the bustle of visiting yachts.
The friendly Gigha Hotel is just a few minutes causal stroll away with a welcoming restaurant and bar. The 9 hole golf course is about half a mile northward and a ten minute walk in the opposite direction will take you to the celebrated Achamore Gardens which are simply stunning, with a profusion of colour and fragrance divided into twenty distinctively individual gardens. The Gardens are open throughout the year.
Each open plan cottage comfortably sleeps four, with two single beds on the upstairs gallery and bed settee/single sofa beds downstairs where there is also a colour television. Both kitchens have a gas cooker, fridge, microwave oven and a full inventory. Electrically heated. The Crofts gardens feature a picnic table.
The delightful small island of Gigha, part of the Hebrides , offers cycling, walking, wildlife, charming bays of white sand, standing stones, golf and fishing.
