Escape to the Hebrides

A fantastic 'Hop around the Hebrides' that you'll remember for ever. Perhaps the ultimate Western Isles island-hopping experience! This holiday not only takes in all the main islands in the Outer Hebrides but also includes 3 nights on the wonderful Isle of Skye:

Barra is a tiny island and is the most southerly of the inhabited Outer Hebrides. It is famed for its beauty boasting beaches, hills, machair and moor.

South Uist is a relatively large island lying between Benbecula and Barra. The east side of the island is mountainous with the highest point being Beinn Mhor at 2034ft above sea level.

Benbecula is a peaceful and tranquil island, Benbecula is small, flat, low-lying and dotted with lochs and lochans. It is quite easy to drive straight over it, linked by causeway to the neighbouring Uists.

North Uist is a paradise for beach and wildlife lovers lying between Harris and Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides and is characterised by its 'drowned landscape' of peat bogs and lochans, and its string of bountiful beaches.

Skye is possibly the most renowned of the Scottish Isles and has an unrivalled reputation for its natural beauty, from spectacular dominating peaks to rolling heather covered hills and rocky coastline.

Harris is a dramatic island that boasts some of the best beaches in Britain. Harris is in fact part of one larger island, joined with Lewis to the north. Harris itself is divided into North and South Harris, by a narrow isthmus.

Lewis is the largest and northern-most island in the Outer Hebrides, home to one of the finest prehistoric sites in Britain, and some fabulous beaches.
