Having grown from a 4-bedroom Highland Country House over 40 years, the Dundonnell now boasts a reputation of excellent accommodation, fine food and superior hospitality. The reception area offers plenty of visitor information along with a selection of gifts and postcards from the local area. Today there are 31 spacious bedrooms at the Dundonnell, each one is traditionally decorated in warm colours and fabrics but with its own individual style and dark wood furnishings. Some of the rooms have stunning views over the amazing An Teallach Mountain range or over the beautiful Little Loch Broom. Each room is equipped with ensuite bathroom facilities, TV, radio, hairdryer, Tea and coffee tray and a direct dial telephone.
At the Dundonnell Hotel you can always expect to experience quality, hearty food. Throughout the summer months meals can be taken in the newly refurbished Claymore Restaurant where you can sample some of the best Scottish produce in popular highland dishes on the extensive a la carte menu. In the winter months guests can select a meal from the shortened Table D' Hote menu, which can be enjoyed in the hotels cosy Tartan Tea room or Broombeg Bar. The Table D Hote menu focusses on delicious winter warming foods with a very Scottish feel to them. Home baking of shortbread, pancakes and scones is also available all year round. The atmospheric Broombeg bar is popular not only with residents but with locals too and has a wide range of lagers, beers, wine and a fantastic selection of single malt whiskies that you can sample in its comfortable surroundings.
