The Tour

Days 1 & 2 Oban and the West Coast.

Travel West in to spectacular scenery of the Trossachs National Park to the shores of Loch Lomond , once a hideaway for outlaw Rob Roy before heading towards the quaint port of Oban "Gateway to the Isles". Visit the beautiful Dunollie Castle, overlooking the bay, and the world-famous Oban Whisky distillery or take a boat trip to explore the array of wildlife off the West Coast. You also have the opportunity to take a ferry to the Isle of Mull for the day.

Overnight Knipoch Hotel .

Days 3 & 4 Relax on the Isle of Skye.

Heading north pass Ben Nevis, Britain's highest peak, and the infamous Glencoe, eerie site of the massacre of the MacDonald clan in 1692. Make a stop for lunch in bustling port of Fort William before passing the Glennfinnan viaduct, famed in the harry Potter movies, on route to Mallaig to catch a ferry to the Isle of Skye . Spend the next two days exploring this magnificent island, its spectacular natural scenery, ancient rock formations, historic castles and local whiskey distilleries.

Days 5 & 6 "“ Loch Ness and Inverness.

Crossing back to the mainland via the Skye Bridge to Lochalsh pass throught he scenic Highlands towards Scotland's most famous Loch. Explore the shores of Loch Ness making a stop to visit the stunning twelth century Urquhart Castle , or to wander the banks of the loch and try to get that elusive snap of the monster himself. At the head of Loch Ness you will find Inverness , the capital of the Highlands nestled on the banks of the river Ness and home to numerours historic and cultural attractions.

Overnight Craigdarroch Hotel .

Days 7 & 8 Historic Stirlingshire and Edinburgh.

Pass South through the heart of Scotland and the Cairngorm National Park passing Blair Castle on route to Stirling. Explore Stilring and its rich history with a visit to Stirling Castle, once a royal seat that rivalled Edinburgh, and the national Wallace Monument. After settling in to your accomodation near Edinburgh you can visit all of the sights of the romantic and magical Scottish capital including Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyrood House not to mention sites a little further afield such as the beautiful Rosslyn Chapel .

Overnight Houstoun House Hotel .

Day 9 - Return Home.

Make your way back to the airport for your return flight.
