Colonsay Lodges (Isle of Colonsay)
The island of Colonsay lies in the Hebridean Islands off the West of Scotland fifteen miles to the south of the island of Mull . To the south west, just visible from a high point on a clear day, is the coast of Donegal in Ireland. To the west lies the Atlantic, with only the Du Hirteach lighthouse standing between Colonsay and Canada. Together with its semi-detatched neighbour Oransay, it forms an island group roughly ten miles long and two miles wide.
Situated behind the Colonsay Hotel, the social centre of the island, these four adjoining chalets can sleep from 2 - 5 people. All are heavily insulated, with double glazing throughout. A communal utility room for all the lodges is equipped with freezer, washing machine and tumble drier.
Phoebe Lodge
Phoebe Lodge can sleep up to 3 people in one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed on the ground floor. The kitchen/dining/lounge area is downstairs. The bathroom has full size bath with overhead shower. Solid wood flooring downstairs and carpeted upstairs.

Adjoining Phoebe Lodge, are 3 larger lodges sleeping 5 each. These three chalets have an upper bedroom with three single beds in addition to the ground floor double bedroom. They also have patio doors leading to a veranda with picnic table for outdoor entertainment.
Within 5 miles of your holiday accommodation is an abundance of sea birds and wildlife in the sea and on the land. There is an 18 hole golf links, fly fishing, boat trips and you can hire bicycles, sailing dinghies and rowing boats.
There are important pre-Iona Christian remains and many Viking sites. Two portions of the ancient Caledonian forest survive here and the exotic rhododendron gardens of Colonsay House are open to the public. The beautiful sandy beaches are washed by the waters of the Gulf Stream. A wonderful unspoilt island.
