Coll Hotel

The award winning Coll Hotel is a small, relaxed and friendly hotel located on the remote and beautiful Isle of Coll overlooking the picturesque village harbour.

The Coll hotel is situated in the village of Arinagour on the small and pretty Isle of Coll one of the Inner Hebrides Islands . Coll is renowned for its white sandy beaches, wildlife and complete tranquillity. The island can only be reached by sea and there are ferry sailings from Oban on the mainland that arrive into the port in the village of Arinagour (please ask your Britain guide to arrange your ferry crossings for you). Arinagour is the main village in Coll and is therefore easily accessible by road to the rest of this tiny island.

The Coll hotel rests in its own grounds overlooking a row of lovely little whitewashed cottages by the harbour side. The hotel boasts its own well-kepts garden complete with decked seating area that provides an ideal spot in which to unwind during the summer months whilst gazing over the peaceful harbour. The Coll Hotel is tastefully and traditionally furnished throughout the public areas and being a small, family owned and run establishment you will always receive the warmest of welcomes.

There are six comfortable ensuite bedrooms in the hotel each of which is traditional in its décor and many with natural wood furnishings. Most of rooms hold stunning views of the bay across to the Treshnish Isles. The guest rooms are well-equipped with TV, hairdryer and radio and are ideal for that Scottish island holiday.

The tradtional hotel bar, which is very popular with the locals on the island, offers the perfect retreat for evening drinks after a long day of walking along the miles of untouched sandy beaches. Relax next to the roaring fire in the cosy lounge bar with a tasty snack or tipple from the bar menu, a perfect place to just unwind. The "Gannet Restaurant", is the hotels award-winning restaurant which is very popular with visitors on the island as well as the locals. The food is all made from high quality local produce to give you a real taste of the islands freshest flavours from both land and sea. Bar snacks are also available in the hotel and meals and snacks can be enjoyed in the restaurant, bar, lounge bar or on a nice summer day, out in the lovely garden area.
