Later you may wish to utilise your 'hop-on hop-off' sightseeing ticket or take an excursion to Rosslyn Chapel , brought to notoriety recently by the 'Da Vinci Code'. During the Edinburgh Festival, included tickets to the dazzling Edinburgh Tattoo are provided. This evening, why not enjoy a Scottish night out. (Full Breakfast)

This morning start with a drive over the Firth of Forth to St. Andrews , one of the most renowned golf courses in the world. It is believed that golf was born on the Old Course in the 15th century. Time to take a picture at the 18th hole and stop at the ecclesiastical ruins in the town before continuing through Dundee and Perth to charming Pitlochry. Then see Blair Castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl, which houses the headquarters of the Atholl Highlanders, Europe's only remaining private army. Finally, on a sombre note, travel to Culloden Moor which was the scene of the defeat of Bonnie Prince Charlie , before arriving in Inverness . (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

Hotel: Royal Highland (F)

Day 4- Highlands & Isle of Skye Excursion

Today drive along the banks of Loch Ness and stop for photographs to see if you can spot 'Nessie'. Then along the shores of Loch Cluanie through Glen Shiel. Next visit Eilean Donan Castle before crossing the Kyle of Lochalsh to the Isle of Skye . Here listen to romantic tales of Flora MacDonald and her daring rescue of the Bonnie Prince as you enjoy the beauty of the Cuillin Hills. The massacre began simultaneously in three settlements along the glen, Invercoe, Inverrigan and Achacon, although the killings took place all over the glen as fleeing MacDonalds were pursued. Pass close by the Clan Memorial where each year, on the 13th February, the Clan Donald Society of Edinburgh arranges an annual wreath laying ceremony attended by Clansmen from across the world along with local people. Then take a scenic drive along the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond to Scotland's second city, Glasgow . (Full Breakfast)

Day 6- Glasgow orientation and Lowlands Excursion

Known in the past for shipbuilding, today the city is the third most populous in the United Kingdom and the largest city in Scotland. Later drive out to Alloway to see the birthplace of Scotland's greatest poet, Robbie Burns. View his monument and the famous Brig O' Doon. Afterwards visit Culzean Castle which is the ancestral home of the Kennedy family. The Scots invited Dwight D. Eisenhower to accept the tenancy of a specially created guest flat on the top floor of the Castle for his lifetime. This was given as a gesture of Scottish thanks for America's support during World War II. Later head back to Glasgow where you will enjoy a Farewell Dinner. (Full Breakfast / Farewell Dinner)
