Airth Castle is set within 14 acres of parkland along with a 12th century church ruins and graveyard and the 18th century stable buildings. The Castle itself, once owned by the family of King Robert the Bruce , dates back to the 1300s and boasts stunning fortified architecture. The oldest, East Wing consists of unequal turrets, whilst the West Wing is built of a simple square tower and battlements and is named after the famous William Wallace himself. Inside the reception and lounge area is traditionally furnished and offers a warm welcome.
