Airth Castle

Airth Castle dates back to the 14th century, is set within the beautiful Forth Valley near to Stirling and offers luxurious levels of accommodation and service.

Airth Castle is set within 14 acres of parkland along with a 12th century church ruins and graveyard and the 18th century stable buildings. The Castle itself, once owned by the family of King Robert the Bruce , dates back to the 1300s and boasts stunning fortified architecture. The oldest, East Wing consists of unequal turrets, whilst the West Wing is built of a simple square tower and battlements and is named after the famous William Wallace himself. Inside the reception and lounge area is traditionally furnished and offers a warm welcome.

Each of the guest bedrooms at Airth Castle has been individually designed, decorated and furnished to the highest standards and with ultimate guest comfort in mind. Whilst each is unique, the rooms carry a common theme which draw on the romantic mood of the surrounding countryside to create a calm and relaxing sleeping environment. The menu takes favourite, traditional meat and fish dishes and serves them with a modern twist and creative flair. For more informal dining the Stables Plasma Lounge has a contemporary but relaxing ambiance and offers a range of drinks, bar snacks and light meals.

For those looking to relax after a day's sightseeing the Cloud Nine Spa at Airth Castle offers the perfect retreat complete with an 18 metre pool, spa, sauna and steam room whilst there is also a range of additional health and beauty treatments. More active guests can make use of the state-of-the-art fitness gym fully-equipped with aerobic and weight machines, free-weights, swiss balls, ab cradles and fitted with large plasma screens for entertainment whilst you work out.
