Britain is one of my favorite places in the world to visit and what better job than to sell vacations to this great destination.

What is your favourite part of Britain?

Definitely the Cotswolds, as this is the real traditional area that you envisage when you think of England. The Cotswolds countryside is truly beautiful and full of small and quaint villages all with odd and eccentric names like Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Norton.

What is your favourite visitor attraction?

Roman Bath Attraction in Bath. It's truly fascinating.

What is your favourite British food and restaurant in Britain?

A ploughman's lunch. You will find that many of the small country pubs throughout Britain will serve their own unique ploughman's lunches. They usually consist of breads, local cheeses and seasonal salads, chutneys and pickles.

Which is your favourite pub in Britain?

The Queen Victoria (a fictional pub from one of our television soap operas, Eastenders). Its where all the drama happens!

Where do you like to shop?

Bond street, London. Its the only place for your designer gear.

Favourite getaway in Britain?

The Lake District. There is something here for everyone, it is peaceful and relaxing and has simply beautiful scenery (so beautiful that it inspired some of Britains most famous poets including Wordsworth). My tip is to base yourself in Windermere, Kendal or Ambleside for a few days and explore in the car. Don't forget to take a boat trip on Lake Windermere.

Given your experience what advice would you give to people coming to Britain?

Take some time to review the history and culture of Britain. To understand the present and what makes Britain so wonderful is to understand its rich and colored past. A great way to do this is to pre-book the Great British Heritage Pass, which gives you access to hundreds of hitoric sites throught the UK.
