Lydstep Beach

Lydstep is a charming sand and shingle beach, which enjoys a peaceful, idyllic setting with dramatic views overlooking the beautiful Caldey Island. There is an entrance fee to use the facilities at the beach, which include jet skiing, windsurfing, canoeing, amusement arcades and a leisure centre. The area is popular with walkers wanting to experience the unrivalled beauty of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, which forms part of the Pembrokeshire National Park . At low tide there are a number of caves to explore including a smugglers cave. If you want to visit the beach, but don't want to use any of the facilities, there is a free National Trust car park within walking distance on the southern headland of the beach.

Access: The nearest town is Tenby and there is regular public transport.
