London Heathrow Airport

Situated just 22km (14 miles) west of Central London, London Heathrow Airport (LHR) is Britain's busiest international airport and the third busiest airport in the world.

Heathrow is the primary hub of three airlines, British Airways, BMI and Virgin Atlantic and is owned and operated by the British Airport Authority (BAA).

The airport has 5 terminals, with the 5th (Terminal 5) opening in 2008 to exclusively handle British Airways traffic.
