The Famous Wild Boar

Set amid the rustic scenery of the gentle Gilpin Valley on the main A road to Windermere, the Famous Wild Boar is a charming Inn which has welcomed weary travellers to the Lake District for over 200 years. Inside the Wild Boar is set with characteristic low ceilings, oak beams and log fires, in keeping with the traditions of the old Inn.

Central to the Wild Boar is its award-winning restaurant.
