Cotswold House Hotel

Luxury accommodation in Britain

Subtle yet charming and attractive, Cotswold House’s appeal lies in its sumptuous interiors, fabulous bedrooms and Regency Splendour in a picture postcard location.

Like the delightful countryside around it, Cotswold House is renowned for its sublime comfort, tranquillity and simple beauty. Situated in the heart of the idyllic Cotswold village of Chipping Campden, Cotswold House represents classic British understatement with its impressive Regency façade and porticoed entrance blending in superbly with its golden Cotswold stone surroundings.

Inside the hotel’s décor provides the finest in modern design and comfort without being too sparse, while maintaining the elegance and stately touches of the house in its original form. Sumptuous sofas sit opposite inglenook fireplaces and one fabulous feature that will immediately draw your attention is the spiral staircase, breathtaking in more ways than one!

The reward for the walk upstairs is bedrooms you’ll be sorry to leave. Sumptuously big beds, thick, feathery duvets, crisp linen sheets and cashmere throws in well appointed bedrooms, some with four poster beds and some with organic touches of exposed brickwork and oak beamed ceilings. Bespoke minibars join a wealth of modern facilities and comforts and the bathrooms are impressively sized and lavishly fitted. The hotel also offers a number of Garden Cottage suites to the rear of the main buildings that offer an extra amount of privacy in charming renovated old cottages; one boasts a secluded secret garden with a bubbling Japanese style hot tub.

Cotswold House offers two restaurants, informal contemporary dining in the popular Hicks’ Brasserie and Bar or the slightly more formal Garden Restaurant; an intimate candlelit affair that on mild summer evenings spills out onto the garden patio. Both offer excellent food, exciting flavours and the best in modern British cuisine and a more than adequate wine list. Beforehand guests may be served with canapés in the privacy of their rooms while they and their meals are prepared.

The surrounding area of the Cotswolds are often regarded as a classic example of the English countryside of rolling patchwork hills and thatched roof cottages and the Cotswold Hotel is perfectly situated for exploring it.
