Fairyhill

Luxury accommodation in Britain

Fairyhill is a delightful country house, hotel and highly acclaimed restaurant set in 24 acres of the beautiful landscape of the Gower peninsula.

Fairyhill simply oozes charm, from the setting of grounds featuring manicured lawns, mature woodland, stream and shimmering lake, the characterful 18th Century house clad in Ivy, to the refined modern interiors, superb restaurant and casual hospitality and assured professionalism of staff and hosts.

There are just eight bedrooms at Fairyhill, each are well portioned and individually decorated to the highest standards, displaying great attention to detail. Lighting is soft, furnishings are understatedly modern, décor varies from the traditional floral, country house style to the trendy hip hotel, fittings include all the conveniences of the modern home and bathrooms are luxuriously sized and equipped with the most up to date fittings.

There is an assured but modest sense of confidence about Fairyhill and it is due, to some degree, to the high standards and reputation of its restaurant. Fairyhill is widely regarded as one of the best places to eat in all of Wales and quite possibly Britain. Fairyhill’s confident cuisine could be described as modern welsh, with the very best locally sourced produce, blending classical dishes with continental influences. For example, rack of lamb with sauté of liver, kidneys, garlic and parsley. By way of accompaniment Fairyhill has one of Wales’ finest wine cellars.

One of the beauties of Fairyhill is its relaxed atmosphere that does away with any unnecessary stuffiness. After a wonderful meal you can relax in the refined surrounds of the bar for petit fours or a digestive.

In summer you could even take your drinks or indeed have your meal served outside on the terrace beside the croquet lawn and sample the uniquely tranquil ambience of the Gower Peninsula by strolling along the paths in Fairyhill's grounds meandering through flowering gardens and mature woodland onto the peaceful lake.
