The hotel overlooks the estuary at the foot of the pretty Italianate village of Portmeirion, that Williams-Ellis for built himself. The hotel’s restaurant overlooking the estuary, is situated in the conservatory area that opens out to a wonderfully sun drenched patio in the summer. As well as the view, guests can enjoy fine classical cuisine utilising the best of fresh local produce, which is accompanied by an impressive wine list.
For a truly singular experience, guests can also stay in one of the deluxe suites of Portmeirion’s village residences and soak up the atmosphere of this fairytale location. Alternatively the sister hotel Castell Deudraeth offers similar unique qualities with a more modern flavour.
