Why did you join myguide Britain?
I originally completed two weeks with myguideBritain on work placement during my study at college. I came back after my graduation and have worked for the company ever since! I enjoy the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I like meeting people and this job gives the opportunity to interact with people from all over the world. With the ongoing training my knowledge is always growing and I feel I learn something new everyday.

What is you favourite part of Britain?
There are so many places I love to visit and have great memories of, but I love the city life so it's got to be London which has so much to offer in one area. You can never be bored of London! It's packed with great historical and heritage sites , fabulous restaurants to suit all tastes and a excellent shopping scene not to mention the West End with its array of theatres and shows. London is not to be missed, and I would especially recommend a flight on the London Eye for some of the best views of the city!

What is your favourite visitor attraction?
I don't really have one favourite visitor attraction in the UK. There is so much available for everyone it's hard to compare. The Brecon Beacons National Park in Mid Wales probably stands out for me. Beautiful surreal countryside that stretches for miles. A must for country walks and a perfect place for a picnic on a hot day. You can explore this area with a stay in the Felin Fach Griffin traditional welsh hotel and restaurant. Oh, and I also love the Caerleon Roman Archaeological Excavation as its in my home town.

What is your favourite British food and restaurant in Britain?
Probably traditional Steak and Chips. I love 'The Royal' in Usk, South Wales. Small quaint local pub that welcomes anyone! They offer fabulous fresh home cooked meals with everything on their menu from freshly made Pies to grilled fish. Delicious menu.

Where do you like to shop?
Got to be London, it's well worth a visit just for the shopping! Offers great shops for all kinds of stuff, something to suit everyone. You get all of the big chain stores but also the independent boutiques that sell truly unique clothes and gifts.

Your favourite getaway in Britain?
Brighton! Brighton is one of the largest seaside resorts in the UK and fabulous for a short stay! Brighton boomed in Victorian times when us Brits first began taking holidays. When we have some sunshine Brighton is still hugely popular and here you will certainly see some real British traditions. There's plenty to see and do for people of all ages. Famous landmarks include the Royal Pavillion, the Victorian entertainments pier and Brighton Beach.

What advice would you give to people coming to Britain?
Don't be in a hurry to leave. Take time to explore Britain's beautiful towns and countryside and try to spend a couple of nights in some locations. You'll regret it if you don't.
