There are numerous restaurants, groceries, banks and pharmacies nearby.

Guest rooms at the Hotel George are stylishly designed to radiate warm elegance and comfort. All of the guest rooms offer a range of luxury features including: individually controlled air-con, international television channels, electronically operated safe, direct-dial telephone (with very reasonable phone charges), mini-bar, coffee & tea making service tray, free highspeed Internet access via LAN, a complimentary electric travel adapter. You are able to plug in your i-pod, camera (etc.) into the USB port on the TV. There is a mix of twin, double and single rooms. Half of the rooms look out over the garden to the rear of the building, the others over the residential street in front. Bathrooms are fully equipped, with either a walk in shower or with bath and overhead shower. They offer uxurious black granite finish and a host of extra touches such as under floor heating and quality hairdryers.  For that extra comfort you can opt for one of several Executive Guest Rooms which share the features of the Classic bedrooms but also offer a slightly more spacious room with a chair bed suitable for 1 child or with a settee bed suitable for 2 children. They have have sound-proof windows, laptop size electronic safe, work desk with an integrated Euro electric socket, bath robes, slippers, cosmetic mirror, and a welcome fruit basket and bottled mineral water.  10% of the bedrooms allow smoking in the rooms, the rest are non smoking (and all public areas of course).

There is a nice tiled, large reception area, leading through to a lounge area, bar and a large, separate, breakfast room with windows and French doors leading out to quite a large garden at the rear of the hotel. We think it is a very relaxing way to start your day!

A lovely buffet breakfast is served from 06.30 - 11.00 Monday-Friday, and from 07.00 - 11.30 on Saturday & Sunday. Our B+B rates include the full buffet, hot and cold, smoked salmon and champagne!  The Bistro Lounge offers dining in a contemporary and modern ambience and serves a fine selection of international cuisine for lunches and dinner. You can also choose to dine Al fresco in the spacious garden area when the weather is fine.

The Hotel George has a small 'Wellness/Fitness Centre' with free use of two bikes, cross-trainer and sauna (evening use of sauna). A massage can also be pre-booked.

Rather unusual for a central London hotel, The Hotel George has quite a large garden to the rear of the hotel where you can enjoy a quiet stroll or seat, or perhaps a drink in the evening before heading out?   It also helps give the hotel a very light, airy feeling, with windows both front and back bringing light into the reception, bar, lounge and restaurant areas. An island of peace in the hustle & bustle of this great city.

The Hotel George also offers secure onsite garage parking for 22 cars (£20 per day) and 4 PCs for guest use, useful for checking local tourist attractions, checking in on-line and printing boarding cards, etc.
