The Tour
Days 1 & 2 - Explore London
After
landing in London take 2 days to explore the English
Capital, London and its endless list of famous landmarks and museums. Get snaps
of Big Ben, Buckingham Palace , Trafalgar Square, St Pauls Cathedral,
London Bridge and Downing Street. Enjoy a spot of shopping on Oxford
Street and at Harrods and enjoy the British Museum and Tate Art
Galleries. Ride an open top double decker bus and take a flight on the
London Eye to get the best views of the city skyline.

Day 3 - York and York Minster
Collect
your car and head north passing Robin Hood country and Nottingham
before reaching Yorkshire countryside. Stop in York to enjoy England's
oldest shopping Street, the Shambles, the medieval and Roman city walls
and of course the incredible gothic Cathedral of the York Minster.
Overnight York or nearby Harrogate.
Day 4 & 5 - Hadrian's Wall and Edinburgh
Continue
north through Herriott country and the Yorkshire Dales passing Hadrian's Wall before reaching
the Scottish lowlands. The mysterious Rosslyn Chapel, famed from the
bestselling Da Vinci Code, is always worth a visit before reaching the
Scottish Capital City. Spend the afternoon and the following day
exploring magical Edinburgh with the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle ,
Holyrood Palace and Princes Street to name but a few of the city's
Scottish icons.
Overnight Edinburgh (2 nights).
Day 6 - Braveheart's Stirling and Glasgow
An
early start and within an hour you can be exploring the history of
Braveheart's Battles in the town of Stirling where the Wallace Monument
and Stirling Castle perch over town and fields. Continue in to
Scotland's largest city Glasgow with its rich culture and stark
contrasts of Victorian and Georgian architecture mingling with modern
development on the banks of the Clyde.

Day 7 - The Lake District
From
the city-scape of Glasgow pass Carlisle Castle in to one of the most beautiful rural regions
of the UK, the Lake District. Cruise through countryside landscapes that
inspired Wordsworth and truly relax as you take in the views from a
boat bobbing on our most famous lake, Lake Windermere.
Overnight Lake District.
Day 8 - Liverpool and Roman Chester
Continue
south stopping in Liverpool , European Capital of Culture for 2008 and
home of the Beatles and the Beatles Story. From here make the short journey to Chester, a
glorious Roman walled city boasting timber facaded, mock Tudor
buildings, an excavated Roman Amphitheatre and impressive 400-yr-old cathedral.
Overnight Liverpool or Chester.
Day 9 & 10 - Stratford Upon Avon and the Cotswolds
Now
in the heart of England explore the famous Cotswold countryside
visiting quaint towns and villages like Chipping Campden and Stow on
the Wold with their nestling thatch cottages. Stratford-upon-Avon , home
of Shakespeare, and Oxford with its historic college quads can both be
visited within an hours drive of eachother.
Overnight Cotswolds: Stratford or Cheltenham (2 nights)
Day 11 -The Wye Valley and Cardiff
Take
today crossing the border into beautiful Wales travelling down the Wye
Valley passing Tintern Abbey and Chepstow Castle before arriving in
Cardiff the Welsh Capital. A vibrant young city Cardiff has history at its heart with the Cardiff Castle Fort dating back to Roman
and Medieval times whilst its Palace is home to some of the most
incredibly lavish and eccentic architecture of the twentieth century.

Day 12 - Roman Bath
A
short drive from Cardiff over the river Severn lies the Roman Spa town
of Bath . Home to grand Georgian terraces, cobbled town squares, an
impressive Abbey and of course the Roman Baths, this city is a UNESCO
World Heritage site and a must for your visit to Britain.
Overnight Bath.
Day 13 - Stonehenge, Avebury and Windsor Castle
Take
the scenic route south east to visit the stone-circles in Avebury and
the icon that is Stonehenge before returning to the town of Windsor on
the edge of London. Explore the traditional shops and pubs before
visiting another of Her Majesty's homes at the sepctacular medieval
Windsor Castle . Just a short drive away is your final night stay near
to Heathrow airport.

Day 14 - Return Home
Return home with memories of all three of our nations which make Britain great.
