This tour takes you to the wonders of Britain & Ireland, stopping at Stonehenge, the elegant city of Bath, Cardiff Castle, the Blarney Stone, Dublin, Edinburgh Castle, medieval York and of course the famous sights of London.

The TourDay Number 1: Depart USAOvernight flight to London. Day Number 2: Arrive London (2nights)After checking into your hotel and take the remainder of your day at leisure. Day Number 3: London sightseeing & at leisureMany of London’s major sights are included on your morning sightseeing tour. Then London is yours to discover. (Continental breakfast) Day Number 4: London - Stonehenge - Bath – CardiffA warm welcome from your Tour Director before you travel via Hampton Court to Salisbury Plain where you’ll visit the mysterious stone circle at Stonehenge. Later, view beautiful Salisbury Cathedral on your way to Bath. Here you’ll tour the Roman Baths before crossing the Severn Bridge into Wales and on to Cardiff, the country’s capital. This evening, enjoy a welcome drink with your Tour Director before dinner at your hotel. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner) Day Number 5: Cardiff - Pembroke – WexfordThis morning after breakfast there`s a chance to view Cardiff`s imposing Castle before driving across South Wales via Carmarthen, Merlin the Wizard`s birthplace. Next you’ll head to Pembroke for your ferry to Rosslare in Ireland. On arrival you’ll drive to Wexford for dinner and overnight stay. Day Number 6: Waterford - Blarney – KillarneyToday your first stop is a visit to the Waterford Crystal showroom, afterwards drive along the coast through Youghal and Cork. Visit Blarney Castle – a chance to kiss the famous Blarney Stone and acquire the `gift of the gab`. From here continue over the mountains to Killarney. Dine at your hotel this evening. (Full Irish breakfast/ Dinner) Day Number 7: Killarney - Ring of Kerry – LimerickToday take a scenic coastal drive around the `Ring of Kerry` – a photographer`s delight. Then north to County Limerick, through Adare, the prettiest village in Ireland. Perhaps visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, before heading to your hotel in Limerick, where you’ll be entertained with an Irish Ceilidh night. (Full Irish breakfast) Day Number 8: Limerick - Dublin (2nights)After a full Irish breakfast this morning you’ll drive across County Clare en route to Galway Bay. Stop in Galway then head across Ireland`s rich farmland to Dublin, Ireland`s capital. (Full Irish breakfast) Day Number 9: Dublin sightseeing & at leisureThis morning`s sightseeing tour of Dublin`s `fair city` shows you Trinity College, St. Patrick`s Cathedral, Phoenix Park and the Georgian Squares. The rest of your day is at leisure. You may wish to take an optional excursion and still have time to shop for Irish tweeds and linen in O`Connell, Grafton or Henry Streets. Perhaps join your fellow travelling companions at an Irish cabaret this evening. (Full Irish breakfast) Day Number 10: Dublin – ChesterThis morning from Dublin Bay you’ll cross the Irish Sea to Holyhead on the Welsh island of Anglesey. Next across the Britannia Bridge, and continue through North Wales and the Snowdonia Mountain National Park. On to Roman Chester where you’ll see its Tudor architecture and galleried shops known as the `Rows` before heading to your hotel. (Full English breakfast/ Dinner) Day Number 11: Chester - Lake District - Edinburgh (2nights)Enjoy a morning scenic drive through the beautiful Lake District to visit Grasmere. Next you’ll cross the Scottish border to Moffat Woollens before reaching the Scottish capital – Edinburgh for your two-night stay. This evening, enjoy Scottish hospitality with dinner in a local restaurant. During the Festival, we include tickets to the spectacular Edinburgh Tattoo. (Full Scottish breakfast/ Dinner) Day Number 12: Edinburgh sightseeing & at leisureMorning sightseeing includes a visit to the famous Castle and views of the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Then enjoy time at leisure to explore Edinburgh on your own. You may wish to shop for tartans and tweeds or simply relax with a cup of tea and sample some shortbread. Tonight, why not enjoy a Scottish night out? (Full Scottish breakfast) Day Number 13: Edinburgh - York - HarrogateThrough the Scottish Borderlands, you’ll stop to see the ruined Jedburgh Abbey. Then through the Northumberland National Park into England, for a photo stop at Hadrian`s Wall. Next on to York where your Tour Director walks you through the `Shambles` with time to admire the medieval York Minster. Tonight, we enjoy typical Yorkshire hospitality at dinner in a local pub before reaching your hotel at Harrogate. (Full English breakfast/ Dinner) Day Number 14: Harrogate - Wedgwood - Coventry – SolihullThis morning enjoy some free time in this charming town. Later, make your way to The Potteries where you can visit the famous Wedgwood Pottery Centre. From here continue to Coventry to see its two Cathedrals before reaching your hotel in Solihull for dinner and overnight stay. (Full English breakfast/ Dinner) Day Number 15: Solihull - Stratford – Oxford – LondonToday you’ll view Anne Hathaway`s cottage en route to Stratford-upon-Avon to visit Shakespeare`s birthplace. Next take a scenic drive through the Cotswolds to the little churchyard at Bladon to see Sir Winston Churchill`s grave. Later, at Oxford you’ll visit one of the famous Colleges (or the Sheldonian theatre when the Colleges are closed). From here your journey heads back to London. (Full English breakfast) Day Number 16: London - USATime to bid farewell this morning as you transfer to the airport for your return flight to America.
