    Detailed Itinerary:

    Day Number 1: Depart USA

    Overnight flight to London.

    Day Number 2: Arrive London

    After checking into your hotel, take the remainder of your day at leisure.

    Day Number 3: London - Stratford – York

    Greetings from your Tour Director this morning as you begin your drive through the Oxfordshire countryside to Stratford-upon-Avon. On your arrival you’ll see Anne Hathaway`s cottage at Shottery and then visit the house where Shakespeare was born. This afternoon continue on to Viking York where a walking tour takes you through the historic streets to the cobbled `Shambles` and Britain`s largest medieval Cathedral York Minster. This evening, before dinner at your hotel, enjoy a welcome drink with your Tour Director. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)

    Day Number 4: York - Lake District - Glasgow (2nights)

    This morning after breakfast, you will enjoy a beautiful drive through the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the quaint villages and scenic settings of the Lake District. From here continue along the shores of Lake Windermere, through the countryside which inspired the poetry of William Wordsworth. Later, you’ll cross the border into Bonnie Scotland and drive through the Southern Uplands en route to Glasgow, where you’ll spend the next two nights. (Full Scottish breakfast)

    Day Number 5: Edinburgh Excursion

    After breakfast your morning drive brings you to Scotland`s capital, Edinburgh for the day. On arrival a guided sightseeing tour shows takes you along Princes Street, the Royal Mile and views of the Palace of Holyroodhouse, once home to Mary Queen of Scots. Also included is a visit to Edinburgh`s famous castle. Then enjoy time at leisure to do as you please. You may wish to shop for tweeds and tartans, shortbread or single malt whisky, before making your way back to Glasgow for the night. (Full Scottish breakfast)

    Day Number 6: Glasgow - Belfast – Dublin (2nights)

    An early start today as you drive into Robert Burns country and along the rugged coastline to Stranraer for your ferry to Belfast in Northern Ireland. Here a sightseeing tour takes in the City Hall and Queen`s University. Then you’ll head on your way south, crossing the River Boyne at Drogheda and on to Dublin for two nights. (Full Irish breakfast)

    Day Number 7: Dublin sightseeing & at leisure

    Your morning sightseeing tour in the `fair city` of Dublin shows you Trinity College, the Bank of Ireland, which used to be Ireland`s House of Parliament, St. Patrick`s Cathedral, Phoenix Park and the Georgian Squares of the city. The rest of your day is at leisure. You may wish to shop for Irish tweeds in O`Connell, Grafton or Henry Streets or maybe take a trip to the Guinness Storehouse. This evening, why not sample an Irish cabaret? (Full Irish breakfast)

    Day Number 8: Dublin - Kildare - Waterford

    Today after a good Irish breakfast, your first stop will be at the Irish National Stud Farm located outside the town of Kildare. Then make your way to medieval Kilkenny to see its ancient castle. Later, you’ll continue on to the Waterford Crystal Factory where you’ll see how the famous crystal is created before continuing on to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day Number 9: Waterford - Cardiff – Newport

    An early start this morning as you drive to Rosslare Harbour to board your ferry to Pembroke in South Wales. From here continue on to the Welsh capital Cardiff, where you’ll stop to view its historic castle and see the Millennium Stadium. Then board your coach for a short drive to your hotel in Newport. You’ll dine at your hotel this evening. (Full Welsh breakfast/ Dinner)

    Day Number 10: Newport - Bath - Stonehenge - London

    This morning you’ll cross the Severn Bridge into England heading to the glorious city of Bath. On arrival an orientation tour takes in its graceful terraces and includes a visit to the famous Baths dating from Roman times. From here continue to the mysterious monoliths of Stonehenge before heading off to nearby Salisbury with time to view its impressive Cathedral. Finally you’ll return to London. (Full English breakfast)

    Day Number 11: London - USA

    This morning after breakfast, there`s time to bid farewell to new-found friends before transferring to the airport for your return flight to America. (Continental breakfast)
