Enjoy a few days seeing the famous sights of London before venturing further afield to see the cultural delights of Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon and the Georgian splendour of Bath.

Detailed Itinerary: Day Number 1: Depart USAOvernight flight to London. Day Number 2: Arrive London (6 nights)On arrival and after checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to relax or begin your exploration of England`s lively capital. Day Number 3: London sightseeingYour start your day with a half day`s introductory sightseeing tour. See Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. The rest of the day is yours to discover more of London for yourself or shop in Oxford and Regent Streets and the exclusive designer boutiques along Bond Street - not to mention the many temptations offered by famous Harrods in Knightsbridge. Day Number 4: London at leisureA full day at leisure. Perhaps wander through Hyde Park, visit an exhibition in one of Kensington`s museum or call in at Madame Tussaud`s. Or maybe take an excursion to Royal Windsor to visit Queen Elizabeth`s famous castle. This evening, you may wish to attend one of London`s top stage productions. Day Number 5: Stratford-upon - Avon ExcursionYou`ll enjoy a full day`s sightseeing trip to William Shakespeare`s home town, Stratford-upon-Avon, with its half-timbered Elizabethan architecture and rich tradition as a place of literary pilgrimage. You will also see his birthplace and Anne Hathaway`s Cottage, a picturesque farmhouse in the nearby village of Shottery. This afternoon drive back to London for the night. Day Number 6: Bath ExcursionSuperb Georgian architecture is revealed on a visit to the spa-town of Bath. Here sightseeing includes a tour of the Roman Baths and the Abbey. Then across Salisbury Plain to see the ancient monoliths at Stonehenge before returning to London past Runnymede, where King John sealed the Magna Carta in 1215. Day Number 7: London at leisureOn your final day, why not visit the Victoria and Albert Museum or blend into the `in crowd` in Notting Hill with its many cafes and antique shops? Or take a river cruise along the Thames to the Tower of London and on to Greenwich, home of the Royal Maritime Museum and the Cutty Sark.
