Day Number 1: Depart USA for London

Depart on your overnight flight to London.

Day Number 2: Arrive London (2nights)

After checking into your hotel, take the remainder of your day at leisure.

Day Number 3: London - Oxford - Bath - Bristol

This morning after breakfast your Tour Director will greet you with a warm welcome as you make your way to the first stop of the day - Oxford. Here we will visit one of the University`s Colleges before we continue on a scenic drive through the Southern Cotswolds, which takes you to Bath. On arrival you’ll admire its Georgian architecture and stop to visit the Roman Baths. Next it’s off to nearby Bristol where you’ll enjoy a welcome drink with your Tour Director and fellow travelling companions before dinner at your hotel this evening. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)

Day Number 4: Bristol - Plymouth (2nights)

This morning after a drive to admire the rugged beauty of Cheddar Gorge, you’ll continue on to Glastonbury the legendary burial site of King Arthur, to visit the Abbey ruins. From here make your way south into Devon taking you by the wild and rugged Dartmoor National Park en route to the historic naval port of Plymouth, where you’ll spend the next two nights. After check-in, you’ll dine at your hotel this evening. (Full English breakfast/ Dinner)

Day Number 5: Cornish Excursion

After breakfast this morning you’ll enjoy a delightful day touring this beautiful area and rugged coastline. Visit the artists` colony of St. Ives, the furthest point southwest on the English mainland at Land`s End and there`s also the chance to photograph St. Michael`s Mount near Penzance. Later, just sit back and relax on your leisurely drive back to Plymouth for the night. (Full English breakfast)

Day Number 6: Plymouth - Tintagel – Barnstaple

After breakfast, your first stop this morning will be at Tintagel for views of the ruined castle, reputed to be the birthplace of King Arthur. From here the drive continues to the picturesque and steeply cobbled village of Clovelly. Finally you’ll make your way to the Devon resort of Barnstaple for the night. Dinner is included at your hotel this evening. (Full English breakfast/ Dinner)

Day Number 7: Barnstaple - Stonehenge - Salisbury - London

This morning after breakfast you’ll drive past Lorna Doone`s famous Exmoor as you leave the West Country. Then cross Salisbury Plain to the ancient and mysterious monoliths of Stonehenge. From here continue to your next stop at Salisbury to view its impressive Cathedral. Finally, board your coach for the return journey to London. (Full English breakfast)

Day Number 8: London – USA

This morning time to bid farewell to new-found friends as you transfer to the airport for our return flight to America. (Continental breakfast)
