Day Number 1: Depart USA to London.

Depart on your overnight flight to London.

Day Number 2: Arrive London

After checking into your hotel, take the rest of the day at leisure to explore Britain`s capital city.

Day Number 3: London - Stonehenge - Salisbury - Plymouth (2nights)

A warm welcome from your Tour Director as you set off via Hampton Court and then across Salisbury Plain to ancient Stonehenge. Next, we view Salisbury Cathedral with time to stop for lunch before passing Exeter. Then on to Plymouth, where later you’ll enjoy a welcome drink with your Tour Director. This evening dinner is included at your hotel. (Continental breakfast/ Dinner)

Day Number 4: Plymouth - Bath – Bristol

Today`s morning drive skirts the Dartmoor National Park and takes you through Somerset to Glastonbury where to visit the Abbey ruins. Then you`re off to historic Bath where an orientation tour includes a visit to the Roman Baths. From here continue to Bristol for the evening.

Day Number 5: Bristol - Stow-on-the-Wold - Stratford - Solihull

This morning enjoy a scenic drive through the heart of the Cotswolds to the quaint market town of Stow-on-the-Wold. From here continue your journey to Stratford-upon-Avon where you’ll visit Shakespeare`s birthplace and drive past Anne Hathaway`s Cottage. Finally, you`re off to your hotel for the night, where you could enjoy dinner in a local pub tonight.

Day Number 6: Solihull - Wedgwood - Lake District – Durham

After breakfast your first stop this morning is at the Wedgwood Pottery Centre. From here you’ll make your way into the Lake District and on to picturesque Windermere. There`s a chance to enjoy the views before driving across the Yorkshire Dales and following the line of Hadrian`s Wall to Durham. On arrival an orientation tour on foot takes you to the Cathedral and University buildings. Then you’ll continue to your hotel for dinner. (Full English breakfast/ Dinner)

Day Number 7: Durham - York - London (2nights)

This morning after breakfast you’ll travel south to the historic city of York. Here your Tour Director will take you on a walking tour through York`s medieval streets to the `Shambles`. Then enjoy some leisure time, perhaps visit York Minster and shop for last-minute souvenirs. Later board your coach for the journey back to London. (Full English breakfast)

Day Number 8: London sightseeing & at Leisure

There are many major sights included on today`s morning sightseeing tour. Then London is yours to discover. Maybe take a stroll down Piccadilly, or check out the Knightsbridge boutiques en route to Harrods and enjoy your choice of London`s many restaurants. (Continental breakfast)

Day Number 9: London – USA

Time to bid farewell to Britain and new-found friends as you transfer to the airport for your return flight to America. (Continental breakfast)
