The Tours

Loch Ness and the Higlands

Gain stunning views of the famous Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle as the Scottish countryside gives way to Rannoch Moor and the brooding Pass of Glencoe where you will hear the story of the famous 1692 massacre and stop for a photo opportunity. Following the Caledonian Canal and the banks of Loch Ness you will stop for a cruise on the loch or to explore a tranquil Highland village. Passing Urquhart Castle you reach Inverness , Capital of the Highlands . Returning south towards Edinburgh you will see the spectacular Cairngorm countryside, gain magnificent views of Blair Castle and stop in the picturesque Victorian resort of Pitlochry.

Loch Lomond, the Trossachs and Stirling Castle

Following a panoramic tour of Scotland 's second city, Glasgow , you will travel to the banks of Britain's largest expanse of water, Loch Lomond , with time for a boat ride or ramble along country walks. Continuing through the Trossachs , a National Park of outstanding natural beauty, you will see lochs, mountains and heather covered glens and a favourite destination of Sir Walter Scott. Following spectacular views of Doune Castle , used in Monty Python's "Holy Grail" you will journey to Stirling where there'll be a stop on the Castle Esplanade for you to enjoy either the Castle or other nearby attractions and take in views across the Forth Valley to the 200ft Wallace monument . On your short return trip to Edinburgh you'll pass battle site Bannockburn and Linlithgow Palace, birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots .

St Andrews and the Kingdom of Fife

Crossing the River Forth enjoy a stop at resting place of King Robert the Bruce and an opportunity to take a snap of his ornate, gold tomb at the spectacular Dumfermline Abbey. You tour continues along the coast taking in quaint fishing villages before arriving in St Andrews where you'll have ample time to discover St Andrews Cathedral and University, visit the beach featured in "Chariots of Fire" or explore the 16th century Castle tunnels. Of course golf lovers can visit the Golf museum, see the Links Course putting Green or take a stroll along Grannie Clark's Wynd, a public walk that see's the first and last holes of the world famous "Old Course".

Rosslyn Chapel and the Scottish Borders

Just a short drive in to the Borders region offers a stop at Scots View said to be one of the most spectacular landscape views in Britain. You will then continue to Melrose Abbey burial place of Robert the Bruce's heart, and can enjoy the Roman Heritage Centre. After a stop at Dobbies Garden Centre (inspiration for one of JK Rowling's famous characters) you arrive at Rosslyn Chapel which oozes an aura of mystery. Featured in "The Da Vinci Code" and "The Hiriam Key" you will receive a fully guided tour of this captivating chapel to discover stories of Freemasonry, the Knights of Templar and the Holy Grail itself amongst many more. Just a short stroll away you will also find the ruins of Rosslyn Castle and the bridge which provided the setting for the final scenes of "The Da Vinci Code" film.
