Criccieth Beach

Situated on the shores of Snowdonia , Criccieth is an ideal destination if you are looking for a restful seaside break. The beach itself is western facing with a mixture of sand and shingle. The resort's famous castle attracts many visitors and the town's shops and attractions are all within 5 minutes walk of the beach. Access for Wheelchairs and prams is good. There is a dog exercise area provided, but dog walking is restricted on some parts of the beach.

Access: Criccieth is the nearest town. The railway station is near the beach and there are good public transport links. Routes by road are well signposted off the A497.
