From the renowned Oxford colleges, Shakespeare's Stratford, Roman Bath and Stonehenge to lesser known gems such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester and Avebury.
Suggested Itinerary
Day 1 – Blenheim Palace and Historic Oxford
From London journey out in to the English countryside to historic Oxford, where the internationally renowned university has been home to literary greats such as Tolkien, CS Lewis and Oscar Wilde. Immerse yourself in the laid-back, academic ambiance and be inspired by the sites of the lawned quads of Magdalen or Christchurch college as well as The Bodleian Library and New College Hall which you may recognize from the film adaptations of JK Rowling's modern classic Harry Potter. A short drive north lies the quaint hamlet of Woodstock home to birthplace of Winston Churchill, the fabulous baroque mansion of Blenheim Palace . Conitnue north in to the Cotswolds to the hamlet of Charlecote near to Stratford upon Avon.

Day 2 – Warwick Castle and Stratford-upon-Avon
Just a short drive north from your accomodation you'll find the stunning Warwick Castle dating back to Norman times and William the Conquerer . Just a stone throw from here is historic Stratford , romantically set on the banks of the Avon with timber-fronted, period architecture and many ties to the great Bard himself, William Shakespeare. Enjoy a myriad of related heritage sites including his birthplace Hall's Croft , Anne Hathaway's Cottage and his final resting place at Holy Trinity Church.

Day 3 – The Cotswolds, Cirencester and Bath
Today you will cut directly through the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds countryside as you make your way south from Stratford. Pass through the quaint, eccentrically named villages of Chipping Campden and Stow-on-the-Wold before arriving in the charming town of Cirencester, considered capital of the Cotswold region. After lunch in a tradtional country inn, head for the Roman city of Bath where you can explore classic regency architceture, such as the Royal Crescent , cobbled squares, the ancient Abbey and of course the famous Roman Baths .

Day 4 – Stonehenge, Salisbury and Windsor Castle
From Bath travel south east through the Mendip Hills to the mysterious standing monoliths of Stonehenge and the lesser known but equally impressive stone-circle at Avebury. Visit nearby medieval Salisbury with its half timbered shops, cobbled squares, characterful streets, and the tallest cathedral spire in Britain. Returning towards London over the Sailsbury Plains, make time to stop grand town of Windsor to visit to the world's oldest inhabited stronghold at Windsor Castle .

Day 5 – Return Home
Return home with lasting memories of quintessential England, its beautiful countryside and some of our most iconic landmarks.
