Tour Itinerary
Christmas Eve (Thur Dec 24th 2009)
Enjoy Afternoon Tea (served at 4.30pm) in the Sir Alexander Room before an official welcome from the hotel staff and a tour of the historic Castle. At 6.30pm pre-dinner champagne and Bucks Fizz is served in the atmospheric Library. Then from 7pm enjoy an indulgent 6 course dinner with coffee and selected wines to be served in the Dingeon Restaurant or the Orangery. Music is provided throughout the evening by the Clarsach (tradtional harp) player in the library before a live performance by Carol Singers from the Cockpen Church on the Quarter Deck and Chapel. Mulled wine is served at 10.30pm before bed and Santa's arrival.
Optional Extra: Owls, Myths and Legends (3.30pm-4.30pm). Welcomed to the Castle by falconers in traditional 13th century dress, take part in the ancient art of Falconry and learn about these graceful creatures. (Supplement GBP£23 / US$38 per person).

Christmas Day (Fri Dec 25th 2009)
Enjoy a relaxing Christmas morning breakfast served in the Orangery between 8am and 10am and then spend the morning at your leisure perhaps with a stroll of the grounds. At 12noon formal celebrations commence with a champagne reception in the Alexander Room followed with the arrival of Santa Claus with presents for younger guests. A spectacular indulgent 5 course Christmas lunch is served in the Dungeon Restaurant and the Orangery from 12.30 2.30pm. At 4pm tea and tradtional Christmas cake is served in the Library. A festive evening buffet is served from 7pm before live entertainment rouns off the festivities on the Quarter Deck by acclaimed Le Jazz Hot playing until 11pm approx.
Optional Extra: Archery. The Castle Lawn provides the perfect place to try your hand at this ancient sport. (Supplelement GBP£42 / US$69 per person).
