The Charlecote Pheasant is a charming ivy clad, country house hotel set amongst colourful, well-kept gardens and a small ornamental pond. The red brick farm-house, dating back over a hundred years, boasts sloping rooves, tall chimney stacks and is home to the hotel bar and restaurant areas. Inside, the public spaces have all been comprehensively refurbished in recent years to offer a fresh and welcoming atmosphere. The front of house team is both friendly and professional.
There are 72 guest bedrooms at the Charlecote Pheasant. All of the bedrooms are located outside of the main farmhouse in various outbuildings. The Farmhouse Bedrooms, situated in the older parts of the hotel, are full of character and maintain a rustic feel with traditional furnishings and some with original features such as stone fireplaces. Barford rooms are more spacious, modern and have been styled in contemporary design but still using mellow, relaxing colours. All rooms offer high levels of comfort with additional easy-seating and a range of services which are expected from the modern traveller including en-suite bathrooms, televisions, hospitality trays and room-service. Many rooms have beautirful views over the hotel's surrounding grounds and gardens.
There are a range of dining options available at the Charlecote Pheasant. The traditionally styled lounge bar offers the a cosy retreat in which to relax with a newspaper and tradtional cream tea. The atmospheric hotel bar offers a selection of beers, wines and spirits as well as an extensive snack and bar menu to include a range of freshly prepared sandwiches through to pub favourites including the hearty locally sourced Warwickshire Sausage and Mash. The hotel restaurant provides a more intimate setting for evening dining where there is a small but mouthwatering menu of items to choose from where you might like to try the hotel's speciality dish of “Charlecote Game Pie”. In the summer months food and drinks can also be enjoyed Al Fresco in the hotels beautiful terrace and garden areas.
