A surfer's utopia, Woolacombe beach comprises of two miles of magnificent golden sand backed by sandy hills and the Woolacombe Downs. The vibrant beach is a popular favourite with families, especially in the summer months. There are ample facilities available including beach huts, deckchair hire and lifeguards are regularly on duty. Speed boats and jet skis are prohibited in the water, but excellent facilities are available for surfing, windsurfing, sailing and sea canoeing.

Access: Nearest town is Ilfracombe. Regular bus services connect Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Barnstaple. Rail and National Express links to Barnstaple. Access to Barnstaple & Ilfracombe - Junction 27, M25 then A361. Leave A361 and take A3343 for Woolacombe.
