Swanage Central

The gently sloping sands of Swanage Central form an excellent family beach with a promenade backed by colorful gardens. The bay is sheltered and the sea is particularly safe for swimming with all the amenities close at hand, including toilets with disabled facilities. There are several cafés and restaurants on the beach front plus a first aid point and a lost child centre. Watersports such as sailing, diving and windsurfing are also offered, as is canoe and pedalo hire.

Access: Easily accessible by road. A local bus service also operates from the town.
