| Shoebury East is very popular during the summer months and visitors tend to flock to this sandy beach with it's attractive grassy hinterland. Rampart Terrace which runs to the west of Shoebury East beach has brilliant views of the Thames Estuary. After an hour's drive you will find yourself in the heart of Constable Country with Flatford Mill on the Suffolk-Essex border. Jubilee Beach was opened in July 2003.
