Mundesley

With long stretches of fine sandy beaches and it's uncomplicated pace of life Mundesley attracts lots of tourists in the summer season. In centuries past the main occupation of Mudesley’s villagers used to be fishing, and fishermen can still be seen fishing or launching their boats from the beach. The village has a range of small shops supplying everyday provisions as well as tea-rooms, restaurants and pubs. The beach is reached by walkways which descend down from the cliffs whilst the beautiful cliff top gardens offer an alternative quiet area to sit and relax.

Access: Vehicle access is via the B1159 and B1145 (from Cromer & North Walsham). Nearest train station is North Walsham (Norwich to Cromer line). Local bus service connects with trains. Quiet lanes for cyclists, pedestrians and horse riders.
