| Jubilee Beach is a brand new beach which has been created as the result of an extensive and innovative flood defense improvement project. The beach was opened in July 2002 and is very popular. The sand and shingle beach enjoys the benefits of being on the 'Golden Mile' and close to the seafront attractions, the Pier and the town center. The beach is well managed with support from the local traders and the Seafront Police Officers. Access: The nearest railway station is Southend Central (10 minutes walk).
