Challaborough
![]() |
Challaborough beach is a sheltered horse shoe shaped cove made up of excellent fine sand. At low tide, there are plenty of interesting rock pools to explore or alternatively you could take to the coastal path and stroll along the commanding cliffs of the South Devon coast. The cove lends itself well to watersports and the nearby Holiday Park ensures that guests are never short of entertainment. Safety when bathing is also reassured by the regular presence of Life Guards. Access: From the A379 between Modbury and Aveton Gifford turn onto the B3392 towards Bigbury. At St Annes chapel turn right. Signposted Ringmore and Challaborough. Text produced by permission of Encams myguideBritain recommended accommodation: |
