Borth Beach
![]() |
The wide stretch of beach at Borth Village consists mainly of gentle shelving sand and shingle. To the north, the southern extremities of Snowdonia rise from the sea above Aberdyfi and the scenic estuary of the Dyfi River. To the south, Ceredigion's rocky coast winds its way through the neighbouring village of Clarach to Aberystwyth. The beach itself features a good range of facilities and is a popular location for surfers. Access: Follow A487 north from Aberystwyth, turn off at Bow Street on to B4353 to Borth. Frequent bus and rail links to and from Borth. Text produced by permission of Encams myguideBritain recommended accommodation: |
